Wil has over 20 years of corporate experience in engineering leadership and coaching, software architecture, design, coding and test automation. He is well-versed in the functional and object-oriented design and decomposition of large-scale complex business systems and is an expert in test automation of the full-stack. He also brings more than 10 years of training, teaching, tutoring and mentoring experience in information technology, as well as in mathematics and the core subjects at the secondary / undergraduate levels. He taught undergraduate levels from Pre-Calculus to Linear Algebra, and secondary levels in mathematics, language arts, history and science.
Wil has coached dozens of engineers in micro-testing, test-driven development, and merciless refactoring. He has taught hundreds of developers extreme programming in his boot camps across 4 continents. His work has spanned multiple industries from international banking conglomerates, the airlines, medical devices to gaming. Among many others, he led large scale enterprise transformations, regulatory compliance efforts spanning 300 employees across 3 continents, and short-turnaround MVP’s in construction and commodities.
Wil graduated from Bard College with a B.A. in Mathematics and a minor in Economics and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. He’s an avid tennis player and enjoys playing basketball and chess.
